- 縣，汉语为行政区划单位名称，中国在春秋战国时代便已经出现，是历史极其悠久的行政区划单位，漢字文化圈传统意义上和法律地位上的地方行政單位名稱，具有悠久的歷史。不過在今日的日本，縣是國家最高等級行政區。
